Returns and Purchasing Policy
Change of Mind Returns – 30 Days
We accept change-of-mind returns for all off the shelf lock products. Change-of-mind returns will not be accepted for keys which have been cut to your code numbers or key machines.
To ensure a full refund less postage costs, the buyer will return the item/s:
- within 30 days of purchase date;
- in its original condition and in its original packaging;
- in re-saleable condition; and
- elocksmith Pty Ltd has provided a change of mind return authorisation number.
Refunds will be returned to the credit card account used in the initial purchase within two business days of our receipt of the returned item.
Items which have been modified or rekeyed to customer specification will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and any returns accepted will be subject to a re-stocking fee, this will be quoted prior to accepting the return.
Special orders that have not been modified or rekeyed to suit a customers individual requirements will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.
Product which has been opened, used or installed will not be accepted for change of mind returns.
Damaged or Faulty Returns
Damaged or Faulty items will be repaired, replaced or refunded in accordance with Australian Consumer Laws.
The damaged or faulty item will be returned to elocksmith Pty Ltd to determine the nature and cause of the fault. We reserve the right to decline an exchange, refund or repair where any product fault is caused by misuse or neglect.
We will work with you to rectify issues relating to damaged or faulty goods.
Purchasing
elocksmith Pty Ltd reserves the right to withdraw items for sale without notice.
